Farming, Slaying & Mining

What each of the three grinds pays, plus mastery tiers and milestones.

The three omnitool modes are three separate economies. They pay in different currencies, they level different enchants, and they are not balanced to be identical.

Farming

The hoe. Crops sell for more per unit than mob drops, and enchanted crops carry a bigger uplift than enchanted drops, which makes farming the strongest per-unit money grind on the server.

Supporting systems:

  • Seed Bag — converts a whole farm to another crop. It replaces grown melons and pumpkins directly, and the fruit on replaced tiles is destroyed, so harvest before you convert if you want to keep it.
  • Farming crystals (/pylon) — the farming-specific boost track.
  • Farming mastery — tiered progression that unlocks purchases and perks.

Slaying

The sword. Mobs spawn in stacks, and your hits eat the stack rather than one mob at a time, so slaying wins on throughput rather than on per-unit value. It is also the only source of shards, which buy a large slice of the omnitool enchant list.

Supporting systems:

  • Spawners — permanent passive spawning, gated behind combat mastery tiers.
  • Combat mastery — for example, buying a wolf spawner requires the wolf tier at 60,000 wolf kills. The requirement scales per island member, and your stored member maximum never decreases.

Mining

The pickaxe. Ores, gems through the gem-finder enchants, and the Caverns.

Mining's reward loop runs largely through Caverns & Essence — gemstones for money and trophies, essence for the Crucible — rather than through raw block sales.

Mastery

/mastery Your mastery tiers (alias /masteries)

Mastery tracks how much of a given thing you have killed or harvested and unlocks tiers as you go. Tiers gate real purchases, so mastery is worth pushing deliberately rather than treating as a counter that fills itself.

Milestones

/milestones Farming, Slaying and Mining milestone tracks (alias /ms)

Milestones are the best early return on a grind you are doing anyway. They pay keys, robot keys and other one-off rewards across all three tracks. Check them early and check them often — a milestone you passed three hours ago is still sitting there unclaimed.
